The ESPNIC Mentorship Programme is designed to support the professional development of healthcare professionals working in paediatric and neonatal intensive care through structured one-to-one mentoring.
The programme connects experienced mentors with motivated mentees to encourage career development, strengthen clinical, educational and research skills, and promote international collaboration within the ESPNIC community. Built on mutual trust, respect and shared professional goals, the mentoring relationship provides guidance, support and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
The programme is open to ESPNIC Members from different professional backgrounds, including physicians, nurses and allied health professionals.
Dedicated calls for mentors and mentees are published annually, and participants are matched by the Mentorship Committee to ensure meaningful and productive mentoring relationships.
Participation also offers opportunities to expand professional networks, engage with the wider ESPNIC community and contribute to the future development of paediatric and neonatal intensive care.
